My Anti-Drug

Many use distinct "anti- drugs" in order to resist temptation of using drugs and fighting their addiction. Me, I would use the term "anti-drug" as a things that I would do in order to not explode in anger or holding me back from doing something that I might regret later. There are many ways that I could say would help me to get my mind off of problems, but I think that the two on my list would be music and exercising. I just use those two things to blow of steam sometimes and exercising helps my health, so why not? Music also plays a huge part in being able to stay calm, I just put on my earphones and put my music on shuffle and let it play. I believe that being able to have friends to confide on is also one of my anti-drugs, as they are all different and they keep me grounded. They help me reflect on some circumstances, and sometimes relate to what I would go though, or certain thoughts. In my opinion it is important to have an "anti-drug" is it helps stabilize one's actions and thoughts. For me music, any form of exercise and having someone to be able to confide in is essential as my "anti-drug".

An Inconvenient Truth

In Al Gore's documentary "An Inconvenient Truth" the awareness and dangers of climate change are expressed.  The audience is able to grasp a sense of fear towards upcoming events due to climate change which, we humans have caused. I am a strong believer that we are responsible of our own actions, even when it comes to the harm that we do to our plant. In this film the clarity of the dangers of global warming, and the actions that humans are taking which is little to none is in fact going to have a negative impact years to come. Impacts such as the extinction of species, loss of shelters due to flooding or any other natural disaster. Earth is making great changes some of which we have no control of but have had a great influence on. Sadly as Al Gore stated " Global warming has become an inconvenient truth for the world's governments and some of it's businesses..." which is why merely anything is being done. We have and are cornering out planet to give out on us, but due to the self interest many don't speak up. A point that Gore brings up is the future generations and how it will have a significant impact, and if action is not taken the burden will fall on us.
